Villa Infantil Maya (VIM)

The Mayan Children's Village will be a Christian compound where the children can live, eat, and grow during the week while they attend schools near the campus.

VIM is best thought of as a free boarding school where children live in order to have access to public education that is unavailable in their home villages.

VIM is designed to have the atmosphere of traditional Mayan villages but will let children experience how improvements in health and productivity can be accomplished using traditional resources.  As a ministry of Acción, VIM will encourage Christian growth through education, worship and role models. Read our Fall 2009 newsletter for more information.
